Twinkle Boat

Rebekah and Dulce

Design:

The design of our boat looks like a BIG hot dog holder with a piece of paper on it. It has an oval design because we cut the styrofoam bowl in half, and put half of each side.

The materials we used are:

  • 1 sheet of 9 x 12 Cardstock
  • 120 cm of Duct Tape
  • 30 x 45 cm Aluminum Foil
  • 12 oz Styrofoam bowl
  • Ziploc Sandwich bag

Shape:

The sheet of cardstock was the walls and the bottom of the boat. The duct tape was for tape all of the materials. The aluminum foil was for wrap all the boat (make the boat water-proof). Our net force for the Twinkle Boat was 1589.21g up. Our boat was average for buoyancy force, but below average for efficiency
